When your loved one is booked at the Inmate Reception Center, every minute matters.
The IRC is the LA County Sheriff’s countywide booking hub. Twin Towers Correctional Facility shares the same address, and Men’s Central Jail is across the street at 441 Bauchet St. We help families with bail for people held at any of them.

What to Know About the Inmate Reception Center
The IRC is the Sheriff’s main bail window and is open 24/7. It accepts cash, a cashier’s check or a bail bond. Bail for people held at Pitchess (North County Correctional Facility) in Castaic is also posted here. Call us first and we’ll handle the details for you.

Common Questions
Where is bail posted for the Inmate Reception Center?
At the IRC, 450 Bauchet St. in downtown Los Angeles. It is the Sheriff’s main bail window, open 24/7, and accepts cash, a cashier’s check or a bail bond. Bail for people at Pitchess (North County Correctional Facility) in Castaic is also posted here.
Is bail still required in Los Angeles County?
Not always. Since October 1, 2023, LA Superior Court’s pre-arraignment release rules mean most misdemeanors and non-violent, non-serious felonies are cited or booked and released without money bail before arraignment. Serious and violent felonies are still bailable under the county bail schedule. Call us and we’ll tell you whether bail applies.
What does bail cost?
Premiums are typically 10% of the bail amount, based on rates filed with the California Department of Insurance. We explain the full cost up front, and flexible payment plans are available.
Can bail be posted at night?
Yes. We’re available 24/7, including nights, weekends, and holidays, and a licensed agent answers every call.
Is it confidential?
Yes. We handle every case discreetly and keep your information private.
